Wetherspoons seals deal for pub in Crouch End

PUB chain Wetherspoon will open in Crouch End by the end of 2010.

The company, founded in Muswell Hill in 1979, clsoed the deal to buy the current All Bar One in The Broadway.

It is expected to open before the end of 2010 following a refurbishment, but no specific date has been set, a Wetherspoon spokesman said.

Eddie Gershon added: "Crouch End is a vibrant place, full of bars, comedy clubs, restaurants and one of those places where people tend to live and socialise in the same area.

"We have wanted a location there for some time but many places were either too small or snapped up pretty quickly, so we were delighted we are now able to move in."
