Thulani Khumalo, 20, of Etherley Road, appeared at the court this morning and was remanded in custody until April 11 over the murder of Seydou Diarrassouba on December 26.
Mr Diarrassouba, 18, was fatally stabbed in the heart in front of horrified shoppers near the Foot Locker store in the capital’s busiest shopping street after a fight broke out in the shop.
Another seven men - two aged 22, three aged 16 and others aged 20 and 17 - have been arrested in relation to the police investigation and remain on bail.
