An eighth person has been arrested following last night’s crack down on gang crime by Haringey police officers.
An 18-year-old man, already in prison, has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, burglary and arson in relation to the disorder in Wood Green during the London riots.
More than 158 suspected gang members have been arrested so far across the London for crimes including possession of a firearm, the supply and possession of drugs, money laundering and gang-related violence.
