A nine-year-old girl from Rhodes Avenue primary school in Wood Green won her class a trip around the Olympic Park on Friday as part of a drawing competition.
The student, Pheobe Brady, won the trip for designing the cover of MP Lynne Featherstone’s Christmas card at the end of last year.
Pheobe’s parents, classmates, head teacher Christine Whitham and the Liberal Democrat MP, Lynne Featherstone, enjoyed a bus tour of the park.
The competition winner also wore an Olympic gold medal won by Jonathan Edwards in the triple jump in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
