Spurs fans have until the end of the month to bid for a rare book about the history of the club.

The hand-stitched, leather bound book is being auctioned by the Mayor of Haringey, councillor Gina Adamou, to raise money for her chosen charity, Haringey Carers.

The book, known as the Club Edition Opus, weighs over 30 kilos, is more than 800 pages long, and is one of 1,000 ever made.

Tottenham Hotspur donated the book, which charts 125 years of footballing history, to the mayor to boost her fundraising efforts.

Cllr Adamou said: “It’s an amazing book in mint condition and a chance for Spurs fans to celebrate their club’s illustrious history in style.

“Every penny raised from the auction will go towards supporting carers in Haringey, so I hope that people will dig deep for such a worthy cause.”

Written bids should be marked Spurs Opus Auction and sent to The Mayor’s Parlour, Haringey Civic Centre, High Road, London N22 8LE by midday May 31.
