Bounds Green children joined the fight against a waste processing plant with a cake sale on Monday.
The three youngsters, Florrie and Wilf Weston aged nine and six, and Hanna Lily Smyth-Smith also nine, sold the home made cakes to neighbours and managed to raise £50.
The money will go towards the Pinkham Way Alliance, a campaign opposing a 300,000 tonne-per-year waste processing plant proposed by the North London Waste Authority.
The plans would mean a plant constructed on a nearby nature conservation site and near to several schools and many thousands of homes.
