A man charged with dangerous driving following the death of a cyclist in Tottenham has had his bail extended for more than a month.

The 62-year-old man was originally bailed until the end of April following the accident on March 27 in Great Cambridge Road.

However, his bail has been extended until June 7 while police continue to investigate the case.

Frank Mugisha, 41, of Hoe Lane in Enfield, died on April 2 after sustaining serious injuries from the collision with a car in Great Cambridge Road.

The inquest opened at Barnet Coroner’s Court last month but was adjourned for six months to allow police time to continue their enquiries.
