Teachers act out the Coronation in yesterday's assembly
Patriotic teachers from a Tottenham primary school got into the spirit of the Jubilee on Friday by re-enacting the Queen’s Coronation.
Children at Earlsmead Primary School in Broad Lane watched their teacher, Vanessa Robson, don a regal red gown and a crown in their school hall during their morning assembly.
The performance even saw teacher Alex Higgins dress as the Archbishop to hand over the handmade crown.
Headteacher, Sue Head, assistant headteacher, Scott McKenna, deputy head, Hina Shah, and members of staff James Hadley, Will Orr, Hana Becka, Julie Roberts, Linda George, all got involved in the action.
Children sang God Save the Queen and the national anthem was played when the school’s Queen left the hall.
