Man jailed for ten-and-a-half years after day-long rampage

A man who robbed three women and assaulted two men in a day-long rampage has been jailed for ten-and-a-half years.

Keith Bramble, 52, Carlton Road in Harringay, appeared in Wood Green Crown Court at 10am this morning convicted of a string of offences in Haringey and Islington on November 30 last year.

Bramble robbed a 30-year-old woman of her iPhone in Cornwall Road in Harringay before robbing a 32-year-old woman of her handbag in Evershot Road in Islington.

Next, he proceeded to rob a 51-year-old woman in Evershot Road of her Blackberry mobile phone.

Bramble then proceeded to carry a crow bar in Parkland Walk in Haringey and assaulted and caused actual bodily harm to two men – one an off-duty police officer.

He was found guilty at the same court on May 24 and has been remanded in custody for 196 days, which will be deducted from his sentence.
