A cyclist accused of snatching a woman’s iPhone out of her hand in Wood Green has been charged with theft.
Unemployed Raymond Vitalis, 42, of no fixed abode, is believed to have grabbed the phone from the 39-year-old woman as she was surfing the internet in High Road at approximately 9.10am on Tuesday, July 3.
The woman, who had previously downloaded the Find My iPhone app on her mobile, called the police who were able to track the phone to Chestnuts Park in Tottenham and arrest the suspected thief later that day.
