School expansion plans to be discussed by council cabinet
9:10am Tuesday 10th July 2012 in News By Bruce Thain
Plans for the expansion of a Tottenham primary school will be discussed at a council meeting this evening.
A decision on the controversial plans to expand Belmont Infant School and Belmont Junior School from two to three forms of entry will be made at a Cabinet meeting of Haringey Council tonight.
The proposals would see the larger intake of pupils at the schools, in Rusper Road, from September 2013 and could lead to 90 extra pupils in each building by September 2015.
Plans for the school expansion will go before the cabinet at the Civic Centre, in High Road, Wood Green, at 6.30pm.
