A school bidding for chart success with their positive song about Tottenham have been officially backed by Spurs.
Players from Tottenham Hotspur including Aaron Lennon, Gareth Bale and new boss Andre Villas Boas have given their support to Gladesmore Community School, in Crowland Road, and their choir’s song, Everybody Dreams.
The song aims to project a better image of Tottenham on the anniversary of last year’s riots.
Deputy headteacher from the school Juliette Coley said: “To have Tottenham’s support is absolutely fantastic and overwhelming.
“All the children are over the moon and it’s just really exciting for everyone. This is something for the whole of Tottenham it’s really building a sense of community.”
Pupils from the school recently visited White Hart Lane for a guided tour of the stadium and to film part of their music video.
Last week Mayor of London Boris Johnson visited the school to give his support to the single and has also won the support of singers Plan B, Wretch 32, and Jessie J, as well as comedian Ricky Gervais.
The single will be released on iTunes on August 18.
