Elderly woman murdered in knife attack at Wood Green house

A 79-year-old woman has been stabbed to death in a house in Wood Green, police have said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was found with multiple stab wounds in the property in Morant Place just before 3.35pm this afternoon by officers.
Despite an air ambulance crew rushing to the house, the woman was pronounced dead just before 4.30pm.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. Officers remain investigating at the scene.
