Community comes together for street party

People living in a street in Tottenham came together for their annual street party yesterday.
Families in Elmhurst Road enjoyed a number of activates at the event which organisers hope will build a stronger community.
There was a demonstration and lessons of Brazilian martial art capoeira, a mini Olympics and football matches for people to enjoy.
Organiser Steve Bryan, of Elmhurst road said: "This is the fifth time we have done a street party and it’s a great way to bring the community together.
“Everyone loves it and for a few weeks after there is always a great atmosphere in the street.”
