A community festival to celebrate the regeneration of park will be taking place today .

The Lordship Rec Community Festival, in Lordship Lane, will on from 1pm to 5pm.

The celebration comes after ten years of work by the Lordship Rec Users Forum, who received a £4m Heritage Lottery Grant to help improve the park.

Improvements include a new bike track, an open orchard with new wildlife areas, new play facilities and the renovation of the Shell Theatre for performances.

People will be able to enjoy a number of free activities including sports, games, dog show, an animal corner and The Tottenham Horticulture, Produce and Green Show.
