Gym instructors will be holding a marathon exercise session in aid of the North London Hospice today.

Seven instructors from Muswell Hill fitness group, JCW Fitness, will take part in the fundraiser for the Finchley-based hospice, which provides care for terminally ill people across Haringey, Barnet and Enfield.

At the event, which is taking place at Fortismere School, in Muswell Hill, fitness fanatics will be able to take part in various classes including Zumba, circuits, Pilates and yoga.

The classes are going to be taking place from 11am until 1pm and tickets cost £10 in advance, or £15 on the door.

Owner of the JCW Fitness, Jane Wrafter, 42, said: “We wanted to raise money for a local charity and everyone I have spoken to is so full of praise for the North London Hospice, and its staff, it was the obvious charity for us to choose.”

Ms Wrafter hopes that at least 100 people will attend the event and that they will raise £5,000.
