Charity staff to raise money with skydive

Staff from a charity which supports people with facial disfigurement will be raising money with a sponsored skydive.

David Hunn, 25, and Mehmet Emin, 25, both from Tottenham and Sophie Erskine, 26, of Muswell Hill, will be jumping out of a plane in aid of charity Changing Faces.

The jump is part of the charity’s Face your Fear week of fund raising, and all three will be facing their fear of heights with the skydive.

Miss Erskine said: “To be honest I am quite terrified about doing the jump, but I am looking forward to it.

“At changing faces we talk to people that have to face their fears everyday so we’re doing the same to raise money for the charity.”

So far the group has raised more than £7,000 before the jump which will take place on Tuesday at an airfield near Peterborough.

Changing Faces supports people whose lives are affected by conditions, marks or scars that alter their appearance.
