Bin collection days to change

Changes to bin collection days as part of the roll of a new waste policy will take place this week.
Collection days will change for most homes next week as part of the new waste collection policy implemented by Haringey Borough Council.
The council says every home affected will have received a letter informing them of the changes.
Extra crews and vehicles will be put on to carry out collections from Monday October 22 to Monday October 29 to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum.
It is hoped the change of day will make collections more efficient and reduce fuel cost.
