Iago Falque continued to press his case for a place in the first team last night has he scored two sensational goals in Tottenham Under-21s' 4-0 victory over Southampton.
The former Barcelona trainee has risen to prominence this season, registering four first team appearances including a start in Tottenham's 1-1 draw with Maribor in the Europa League.
Falque was one of the highlights to come out of that game and manager Andre Villas-Boas singled out the Spanish winger for praise in his post-match comments.
The 22-year-old is yet to be handed a league start this campaign but with both Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale underperforming against Manchester City, is it time Falque was given a chance on one of the wings of Tottenham's first team?
