Spurs loanee Harry Kane marked his return from injury with two goals as Norwich City Under-21s beat West Ham Under-21s 3-1.

The 19-year-old joined the Canaries on loan at the end of the summer but has struggled with injuries, making just one appearance for the club.

But Kane was quick to make an impression as he put the Canaries ahead after some good work on the wing from Jamar Loza.

Kane had previously hit the upright with a left footed shot, and his influence continued in the second half, first winning a penalty which Olumide Durojaiye converted, before tapping home his second of the game and City’s third from Jacob Murphy’s cross.

Nathan Mavila’s late free-kick proved to be mere consolation for the Hammers.

Speaking to Canaries Player after the match Under-21 boss Scott Marshall said: “I’m delighted with the win, the lads played very well today, kept their discipline and understood their roles really well.

“It was great to have a presence like Harry in the side at this level and it was great for him as well to get the two goals."
