Stalemate for Haringey Borough against Berkhamsted

Haringey Borough made it four games unbeaten after a goalless draw at home to Berkhamsted in the South Midlands Premier Division.

Boro keeper Erbil Bozkurt was forced into an early save when he turned a shot around the post.

Christopher Morgan had the first chance for the hosts but he failed to find the target with his strike.

Morgan had another opportunity to open the scoring before the break but his shot flew just wide.

The visitors looked the more dangerous side in the second half and twice went close through Connor Calcutt.

Haringey relied on the counter-attack and one of their best chances fell to Bradley O’Donovan but his shot inside the area was comfortably saved by Carl Tasker.

Boro nearly pinched the points late on when a ball over the top found O’Donovan and although he guided it past the keeper it was cleared off the line by a defender.

Haringey travel to Tring Athletic this weekend before visiting Colney Heath on Tuesday night.
