Tottenham's Andros Townsend followed up his man of the match display against Montenegro with another enthralling performance against Poland as England secured automatic qualification to the World Cup finals with a 2-0 win.
Townsend was brought off to a rapturous reception from the Wembley crowd with four minutes to play after a fearless 86 minutes.
The Spurs winger unleashed a curling left-footed shot which crashed against the bar in the first half and made several driving runs as England poured forward chasing the win.
Mousa Dembele played the whole game as Belgium finished their qualifying campaign unbeaten after a 1-1 draw with Wales.
Nacer Chadli also started the game and played 58 minutes while Jan Vertonghen joined the action with just under 20 minutes to play.
Belgium had already booked their place in Brazil with a 2-1 win over Croatia last Friday.
Tom Carroll started for England Under-21s, who thrashed Lithuania 5-0 in the European Under-21 Championship qualifier, but Carroll's contribution only lasted 15 minutes as he limped off with an injury.
In that time however Carroll set up Ravel Morrison for the opening goal which came after just two minutes.
Paulinho played 63 minutes as Brazil secured a 2-0 friendly win against Zambia.
