Haringey Borough Ladies ended their losing streak at the seventh attempt after they claimed a 2-2 draw with Barking in Eastern Region Women’s League.
Borough played neat football in the opening period but fell behind when Katie Whitehead scrambled the ball over the line.
A deserved equaliser arrived as Stephanie Cooper was able to poke the ball home after pressuring the goalkeeper but an own goal saw Haringey 2-1 down at the interval.
Borough started the second half brightly and Cooper equalised as she found space and drilled a shot into the roof of the net.
Haringey looked the more likely winners but Barking asserted themselves well in the closing stages and managed to hold out.
