World champion Ronnie O’Sullivan reached the quarter-finals of the Masters at Alexandra Palace.

The 2009 winner was in dominant form as he eased to a 6-1 victory over Robert Milkins. O’Sullivan is scheduled to face Ricky Walden in their last eight clash this afternoon.

World number one Neil Robertson was the latest player to progress after he won the final two frames to edge past Mark Allen 6-5.

A break of 59 in the decider helped book a quarter-final match against Stephen Maguire.
