Tottenham Hotspur will offer Samuel Eto'o the chance to extend his Premier League career when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires, according to the Metro.

Eto'o, 33, is out of contract with the Blues this summer and is expected to leave after just one season at the club.

The former Barcelona an Inter Milan forward had been linked with a move to the MLS or Australia at the end of the campaign, but Spurs could offer the Cameroonian the opportunity to remain in England next season.

It is understood the forward - who scored nine Premier League goals this season - is subject of interest from Spurs, who would put forward a two-year contract in a bid to land the former Anzhi hitman.
