Tottenham Hotspur midfield pair Sandro and Mousa Dembele are attracting interest from Serie A sides Napoli and Roma respectively, according to the Daily Mirror.

Sandro, 25, found himself out of favour at White Hart Lane under Tim Sherwood and missed out on a place in Luiz Felipe Scolari's 23-man Brazil World Cup squad as a result.

Two weeks ago, Sandro's agent , Luiz Paulo Chignall, said: “We know that many clubs are following Sandro.

“He would like to play in Serie A, it is a very important championship but now we have to wait to know if he can leave Tottenham or not.”

The former Internacional player was described as being "not good enough" by Sherwood but took to Twitter shortly after the former head coach's comments to re-affirm his commitment to Spurs.

A key player under Harry Redknapp and Andre Villas-Boas, Sandro suffered with a combination of form and fitness last term.

Fellow midfielder Dembele, 26, is another attracting interest from Serie A but the former Fulham man - unlike Sandro - remained a regular last term, making 22 league starts.

Signed from the Cottagers in 2012, the Belgian international has since made 58 Premier League appearances in two seasons in North London.

Roma have expressed an interest in the 56-cap Belgian, who is part of Marc Wilmots' squad for this summer's World Cup.
