Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris helped France kick-off their World Cup with a 3-0 win over the Honduras.
Lloris, who is France's captain, kept a clean sheet as Les Bleus swept aside their Central American opposition in Group E opposition.
Karim Benzema put Didier Deschamps' side ahead from the penalty spot before the break and an own-goal from Honduran keeper Noel Valladares after the break doubled the lead.
The Real Madrid forward added his second 18 minutes from time with powerful shot into the roof of the net.
Spurs' four remaining World Cup stars - Nabil Bentaleb (Algeria), Mousa Dembele, Nacer Chadli and Jan Vertonghen (all Belgium) go head-to-head when the two nations meet in Group H in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday.
