Liverpool have signed Spurs youngsters Kevin Stewart and Lawrence Vigouroux after their contracts at White Hart Lane expired.
Stewart featured for Spurs last summer in friendlies against Swindon, Monaco and Espanyol as well as making the journey to Hong Kong for the Barclays Asia Trophy.
The defender, 20, tweeted to confirm the move: “Delighted to have signed for @LFC! Its been a dream of mine from a kid! Thank you for all of the welcoming messages! #YNWA”
Featuring 15 times in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League in 2012-13, Enfield-born Stewart gained valuable experience on loan at League One side Crew Alexandra last April, making his Football League debut for the League One side against Preston.
Making the move to Merseyside with him is fellow Londoner, Vigouroux.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper, who was on trial at Liverpool earlier in the year, has also been allowed to leave Tottenham given that his contract has also expired.
Vigouroux also took to Twitter to celebrate his move: “So happy to have joined @LFC, what a massive club, can't wait to start! Thanks everyone for the messages! #YNWA”
The promising Chilean keeper played for Spurs’ Under-21s last term and also spent time on loan at Conference outfit Hyde, making 12 appearances for the Tigers.
Both Stewart and Vigouroux will be reunited with Liverpool Under-21 manager Inglethorpe, who had previously worked within Liverpool’s academy.
