Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli could be set for a season-long loan move to Premier League rivals Sunderland, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Belgian winger joined Spurs from FC Twente last summer and despite being a regular in the matchday squad, the 25-year-old made just 15 Premier League starts.

Fellow winger Erik Lamela is now back fit and has been a big part of new head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-season plans, whilst Southampton’s left-sided forward, Jay Rodriguez, is also being targeted by Spurs.

PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay has also been heavily linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

Born in Liege, the left-sided winger ended the season by playing the centre of midfield as Tim Sherwood tinkered with his squad.

Chadli was part of Belgium’s World Cup squad and made four appearances for Marc Wilmots’ side, though only completed 100 minutes of football for the Red Devils.
