Tottenham have completed the signing of Benjamin Stambouli.

The terms of the deal to bring in the 24-year-old defensive midfielder from Montpellier have not been revealed by Spurs after a price for the player was agreed last week.

Having progressed through the ranks at the Ligue 1 club, Stambouli made his debut in 2010 and has gone on to make 129 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals. He also won 14 caps for the French Under-21 side.
