London Blitz have been crowned National American Football League Under-19 champions after beating Farnham Knights 35-7.
The match-up saw the last two unbeaten teams meet at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium, with the Blitz emerging comfortable winners thanks to a dominant first-half display.
Running backs Dwight Caulker and Remmy Ezeabasili both touched down early on to put the Blitz into a 13-0 lead.
Ezeabasili scored his second touchdown from the Blitz’s next drive, dashing into the endzone from 32 yards.
Quarter-back Vidal Baffo then found wide-out Jason Selormey in the endzone for a 20-yard touchdown, before Michael Akinlade showed his pace to blast across the line from 55 yards.
A rushing touchdown from Henry Schoen brought the Knights seven points before half-time but neither side added to the score in the second half.
