London Skolars have re-signed Aaron Small after a two-year stay at rivals Hemel Stags.

The centre made 17 appearances for Hemel last term as they finished in the Kingstone Press Championship 1 play-offs - two places ahead of the Skolars.

Speaking to the club's website, Small said: "I’m very happy to be back to where I started my rugby. I enjoyed my last two seasons at Hemel and gained a lot of experience. I am looking forward to meeting the new squad and training at the great facilities that New River has to offer."

Head coach Joe Mbu added: "We’re excited to have Aaron re-join us. Since he has been playing more regular first team rugby over the past two years he seems to have picked up plenty of skills, maturity and knowledge, which we are looking forward to see transferred into a strong year for Skolars."

Small joins former Warrington Wolves academy player Will Fairhurst and full-back James Anthony in committing to the Skolars for the 2015 campaign.
