Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane scored two minutes after coming on for his full England debut to cap a remarkable breakthrough season.

The 21-year-old striker began on the bench for Roy Hodgson's side but with the Three Lions leading 3-0, the Spurs striker was brought into the action after 73 minutes.

Two minutes later the Chingford-born hitman had, inevitably, opened his account for his country by stooping to meet Raheem Sterling's perfectly-weighted back-post cross.

Kane now has 35 goals this season for club and country, with six of those coming for England at Under-21 and now senior level.

Wayne Rooney opened the scoring early on before Danny Welbeck doubled England's lead on the stroke of half-time.

Sterling fired in his first international goal after the restart but Kane stole the show with 17 minutes remaining.
