Tottenham Hotspur's Andros Townsend started for England as the Three Lions picked up a dramatic 3-2 win over Slovenia in qualification for the 2016 European Championships.
The Spurs winger was removed after 74 minutes to be replaced by Arsenal's Theo Walcott. At that stage England were leading 2-1 thanks to a pair of rasping drives from Jack Wilshere.
However, Slovenia - who had taken the lead via Milivoje Novakovic in the first half - levelled when Nejc Pecnik headed home with five minutes remaining.
But the drama was far from over.
Captain Wayne Rooney slotted past Samir Handanovic little over 60 seconds later to seal the win and move within one goal of equally Sir Bobby Charlton's England goal-scoring record in a action-packed finish in Ljubljana.
England sit top of Group E with maximum points from six fixtures. They can secure their place at the 2016 Championships in France in September.
