Tottenham Hotspur are now rumoured to be in the running for Paris St-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

According to France Football, Spurs have registered their interested in the French international, who is already on the radar of Crystal Palace, former club Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Eagles manager Alan Pardew is said to be keen on linking up with the player he brought to the Premier League, but White Hart Lane could prove a more attractive option for the 29-year-old.

Talking to the French press, he said: “If there is an opportunity to go back to England, I hope everyone will be smart enough to do things well. But there could be other destinations.”

Cabaye has made just 22 starts since his move to France in January 2014 and wants to play more regular first-team football.
