Any talk of a Tottenham Hotspur offer for Saido Berahino appears to be wide of the mark after West Bromwich Albion tweeted to deny there had been no bids for the striker.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane throughout the summer but the Baggies used their Twitter account to state categorically they had not received any approaches for the England Under-21 cap.
After netting 20 times in 45 appearances in all competitions last term interest in the Burundi-born forward is expected to be high and Liverpool, along with Spurs, have been mooted as a potential destination for the youngster.
But now Albion have moved to put an end to speculation linking their biggest asset with a move away from The Hawthorns.
