CROAT Vedran Corluka has toasted his countryman who is impressing in central midfield for Spurs.
Corluka lavished praise on his comrade Luca Modric.
"He plays there for the national team and he can play there in the Premier League as well" said Corluka.
He boasted he had predicted what an impact the pint-sized midfielder would have in the middle of the park.
"He's done well but we all knew he would. It's much tougher in the Premier League, but he can handle that.
“Luca's a complete player, an excellent player and wherever he plays in midfield he will do well for us."
Meanwhile, Spurs have handed crocked midfielder Tom Huddlestone a deal to keep him at White Hart Lane until 2015.
