Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba is in a stable condition in the London Chest Hospital, Bethnal Green after collapsing on the pitch at White Hart Lane.
The 23-year-old collapsed to the turf during the FA Cup sixth round tie and received CPR.
With the game level at 1-1, Muamba suffered a seizure with medical staff from both teams attempting to resuscitate the 23-year-old.
The F.A Cup Quarter-Final was abandoned.
The player was given a standing ovation from both sets of fans as he was stretchered off.
He was rushed to hospital with medics still carrying out CPR on the former Birmingham and Arsenal player.
