Reported Spurs target Javi Marquez has said he expects to leave Espanyol.

The midfielder has been left frustrated by a lack of football this term and revealed his agent has received enquiries.

“I have not been included in the squad in many games and I am ambitious and I want to play,” Marquez told Sky Sports.

“Nobody would like this and nobody would choose to renew their contract at a club where they hardly play.

“I would like to be in a different position and I hope things can be sorted out as soon as possible.

“My agent has been receiving enquiries. I decided to leave last week, but I do not feel I have been treated unfairly.”
