France coach Laurent Blanc reportedly on the shortlist to succeed Harry Redknapp at Tottenham Hotspur

Laurent Blanc is thought to be on the shortlist to succeed Harry Redknapp as Tottenham’s new manager, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The former Manchester United defender is currently in charge of the French side that drew with England at Euro 2012 and has previous experience of management at club level with Bordeaux.

Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has also been linked with the White Hart Lane vacancy.

Blanc’s squad will look to reach the quarter finals of Euro 2012 tonight when they take on Sweden, while England will also be seeking a positive result when they play co-hosts Ukraine.
