Spurs keeper David Button has joined Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old has signed a two-year deal and becomes the Championship club’s sixth new addition of the summer.
The Stevenage-born stopper turned professional at White Hart Lane in 2005 but made just one senior start, a 5-1 League Cup victory over Doncaster Rovers in the 2009/10 season.
Despite his opportunities being limited, Button has impressed during a number of loan spells with clubs including Shrewsbury Town, Plymouth Argyle, Leyton Orient and most recently Barnsley.
