Campaign launched to encourage people to take up sport in Haringey

Give it a Go is a sports campaign being run in Haringey and aims to support more people taking up sport in their local area.

Over 15 different sports clubs in Haringey will be organising free sports provision for people of all ages and abilities in October and November.

The campaign offers Haringey residents the opportunity to try some of the sports and activities showcased at the Games such as basketball, cycling and athletics.

London Skolars are organising a celebration event on Saturday, October 6 between 10-11.30am at White Heart Lane Community Centre.

The event is an opportunity for young people to learn more about the sport before the free Give it a Go sessions start on October 13.
