London Skolars head coach Joe Mbu misses out on Championship 1 Coach of the Year accolade

London Skolars head coach Joe Mbu missed out on an award at the Championship’s end of season presentations, but the club did pick up one honour.
Mbu had been nominated for Championship 1 Coach of the Year, but the prize went to Tony Miller, who led Doncaster to league and grand final triumphs.
However, Lamont Bryan was named in the Championship 1 All-Star team. He scored eight tries in 19 games for Skolars whilst on loan from London Broncos.
Skolars had been looking to sign him permanently for 2013, but he has accepted an offer from Featherstone Rovers.
