Spurs have been the third busiest club in the January transfer window since 2003 and although Andre Villas-Boas recently moved to downplay fans' expectations, it would be a surprise if chairman Daniel Levy didn't again open up his cheque book this year.
The squad is clearly short of fire power up front and moves for Fernando Llorente, Leandro Damiao, Demba Ba, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and David Villa have been mooted.
The departure of Rafael van der Vaart has seen Tottenham short of creativity in the final third with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Wesley Sneijder, Adam Maher and Isco all linked.
Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon have been crucial to Spurs' success this season so far but another wide man would provide cover. Willian, Tom Ince, Christian Atsu and Wilfried Zaha are rumoured to be on Levy's shortlist.
Spurs are still looking for a deep lying playmaker to replace Luka Modric and Joao Moutinho, Felipe Anderson, Lewis Holtby, Miralem Pjanic and Jordie Clasie are all reported targets.
With Kyle Walker struggling for form and Benoit Assou-Ekotto out injured, do Spurs need to give some attention to their full backs? Ajax's Toby Alderweireld has been talked about as a possible target.
