Tottenham Hotspur captain Younes Kaboul is closing on a move to rivals West Ham United, reports suggest.
The centre-back, 29, has been displaced by Jan Vertonghen, Federico Fazio and England Under-21 international Eric Dier and Spurs are looking to cut a deal.
The Guardian were reporting the deal could be worth £2.5 million but subsequent reports suggest Kaboul's move could be on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent switch.
The French international has not made a league start since early November after a string of costly errors and could act as defensive cover for the Hammers’ ailing defence.
Kaboul, who has also been linked with Roma and Besiktas, could join teammate Emmanuel Adebayor at Upton Park after the striker was linked with a loan switch.
