Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen to sign Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier this summer.
Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino is concerned about the injury-prone Kyle Walker, according to the Mirror, and wants the Burnley player to provide competition for the England full-back.
Trippier, 24, reportedly has a £3.5million release clause in his contract and Spurs have began talks with Burnley to try and force through a move.
Despite the White Hart Lane club’s interest, Liverpool could offer competition, as might Southampton who are desperately trying to hold on to Nathaniel Clyne.
Ex-Manchester City youth product Tripper was an ever present for Burnley in the Premier League last season as they were relegated after just one season in the top flight.
