BASKETBALL is certainly the sport in Haringey.
Both the girls and boys won their respective competitions at the prestigious London Youth Games.
These were the borough's only victories, though there were also some good performances in other sports too.
Haringey finished fourth in the weightlifting and girls' football. There were also fifth-place finishes in the girls' cricket, disability football (girls) and tennis.
All 33 London boroughs took part in the finals of the competition at Crystal Palace over the weekend.
Haringey finished 18th overall.
