HARINGEY Karate Kyokushinkai (HKK), one of London’s longest established karate clubs, celebrated its 40th anniversary in true fighting form, by taking a first and a third at the British Karate Kyokushinkai (BKK) Association Regional ‘Knockdown’ tournament in Milton Keynes.
Three fighters representing HKK Dojo - Marcel Saunders (men’s lightweight), Miguel Ramano (men’s heavyweight) and Hristo Lyubenov (men’s heavyweight) - all put in extraordinary efforts.
Saunders finished first and Ramano was third in their respective competitions.
HKK Dojo also has a growing junior section (HKK Dragons) who are training to compete in non-contact tournaments. Visit www.hkk-dojo.co.uk for more information.
