NIKO Kranjcar spared Tottenham's blushes with a late winner at ten-man Stoke City this afternoon.
The Lilywhites were cruising at 1-0 up and with the hosts down to ten men. Eidur Gudjohnsen got the opener for the visitors, his first for the club.
But Stoke equalised in the second half through a Matthew Etherington penalty and looked to have done enough to earn a point.
But Kranjcar struck on 77 minutes. The three points keeps Spurs in the top four.
Dean Whitehead was the man sent off for Stoke, three minutes into the second half for a second bookable offence.
