TOTTENHAM will launch a bid for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young, according to reports.

TalkSPORT claim Spurs are willing to pay up to £22million for the England international, with Robbie Keane and Jermaine Jenas possibly being used as make-weights in any deal.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly ready to match the £65,000-a-week wages Young is currently on with Villa on a five-year contract.
